![]() ![]() It has good speed but not best in tier (it's 2nd best) and others can come close. Yes, GC punishes potato play, but so does almost everything else. All of the weaknesses you have identified are offset by the strengths and can be further mitigated by player skill. I still think the OP claims are exaggerated but not a lot of point arguing about it.Įven if you took the accuracy away, it still has speed, concealment, and large sections of thick shell plating going for it the combination of all of these attributes is a significant advantage over most other tier 5 battleships. I never really thought that but have changed my mind. Think the topic has been discussed enough so I will take my unpopular opinion and exit.īottom line is GC is a good ship. It is not really over powered the way I consider that term to describe a ship.Īnyway I was just posting some thoughts. So GC may "Over Perform" but it is because of that accuracy. If I only had a good WR in GC and I only exceeded server avg for damage in GC then ok you got me but it is not the case. I am no great player myself so some might say my stats in GC are because of the ship but that doesn't explain how I have similar performance in quite a few other ships that are not considered OP now or ever. GC at best helps a bad player with some extra damage based on the better accuracy but as a bad player the weaknesses of the ship (the armor and lower HP pool for example) will get them in trouble. Not as good as it could make a good player look but it will help the bad player go above and beyond. And it does take skill to exploit any ships strengths, meaning it does not make a poor player good. ![]()
